After 18 months, and lots of labor and money, Range 5 is open as of August 10, 2009 at 0900. Appropriate matches will begin using range 5 immediately. Range 5 will be closed for non match shooting on match days. Monthly matches to be conducted on range 5 include High Power Rifle Silhouette and Ram Bash on the first Saturday, Conventional High Power Rifle on the fourth Saturday, IDPA on the fourth Sunday, Multi gun on the fifth Saturday. Full autos can be used only Monday thru Saturday 1000 hours to 1500 hours and no full auto on Sundays. The small side bays are reserved for matches and full auto only. Ranges 4A, 4B and 4C are still available for practice. Please observe all posted range rules. The new road leading to the match bays on Range 5 is very soft at the 300 line. Please do not take vehicles beyond this point until repairs are completed. Please observe all posted speed limit signs on Boondock Lane and stay safe!
