1. The Club member shall be present at all times when he has a guest or a family member present. The Club membership is an individual membership, not a family membership.

2. Club members are reminded that we do have a limit as to the number of times a person is considered a guest. That limit is three times in a year. A range qualified member or spouse may supervise a maximum of four people (guests, spouse, or dependent children) at any one time.

3. In the absence of a Range Officer, the first member arriving becomes the Range Officer and is responsible for the conduct of everyone on that range. This does not relieve other members of the responsibility of enforcing the range rules. The Range Officer shall appoint a replacement Range Officer prior to leaving the range.

4. The range flag shall be raised to the top of the pole before firing commences.

5. NO LOADED WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED ON THE RANGE PROPERTY EXCEPT ON THE FIRING LINE. Cartridge weapons shall not be loaded in any fashion until the muzzle has been pointed down range. Black powder weapons shall not be primed or have a percussion cap installed until the muzzle has been pointed down range. The actions of ALL firearms shall be opened at all times when not on the firing line and when a “CEASE FIRE” order is in effect. Muskets and other external firing weapons shall be discharged. There shall be no handling of weapons ON THE FIRING LINE, IN ANY FASHION, when someone is down range. Black powder weapons shall be subject to appropriate NSSA and NMLRA safety rules regarding the “CEASE FIRE” order. Concealed carry weapons may be loaded and holstered on your person while on the property.  Concealed carry weapons must be unloaded before coming to the firing line if they are to be fired.

6. No one is to advance forward of the firing line unless the “CEASE FIRE” order is given, all actions have been opened, all black powder weapons have been discharged, and the command “THE LINE IS CLEAR” has been given.

7. Firing shall not be resumed until the “COMMENCE FIRE” order has been given.

8. Targets shall be placed on proper backers, furnished by the club. Under no circumstances shall targets be tacked to the target frames. Caution is requested in order to avoid shooting up the frame material. THERE SHALL BE NO SHOOTING ON THE RANGE PROPERTY, EXCEPT AT PAPER TARGETS IN REGULAR FRAMES, OR AT SUCH TARGETS AS APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

 9. Firing at targets on the ground is prohibited.  All projectiles must impact into a backstop.

10. When finished firing, targets shall be removed from the backers and placed in trashcans, or carried home. Backers shall be returned to, and properly replaced in the range houses. Musket teams using breakable targets shall remove all broken material and wire from the range.
