All scheduled matches for 2004 will start approximately 9:30 a.m. Please observe posted speed limit signs to help keep dust down for our neighbors on your way into the range. Remember Cavalier is a cold range, no loaded weapons except on firing line. Match fees will be $10.00 for the first gun and $5.00 for each entry after that. You may shoot only one match as a non-member. You must be an I.D.P.A. member to shoot with us after your first match. Membership information is available at the match. If you shoot with us on a regular basis and would like to trade a couple hours of your time for match fees we need your help as Safety Officers. The big matches are a lot of work and the same people running the show week after week tend to loose interest, so please contact me if you can help out. If there is enough interest for a third classifier, we will have one in place of a shooters choice match. If you have a match design and would like to have it considered for competition let me know and I will get it worked in on one of the shooters choice matches. The Rolling Thunder match for November is the 3-gun match that is noted for its true test of an individual’s exceptional shooting ability with a variety of firearms. The Rolling Thunder match will once again be a bragging rights only match. This means whoever displays enough skill to out shoot all others with a handgun, rifle and shotgun, will be able to talk trash about that amazing feat for the following year.
